Did Y'all See the Grammy's???

    Taylor Swift did not disappoint at the 2024 Grammy's. As she took the stage winning her 13th Grammy for the award of Best Pop Vocal, she made a HUGE announcement. "So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19th. It's called 'The Tortured Poets Department'." I wasn't watching the Grammy's live but I saw the footage many times now on TikTok and man was I shocked. 2 years!? She has been keeping this from us for 2 YEARS!?!?! She really is a MASTERMIND. But the night didn't end there. She went on to win Album of the Year for the 4th time breaking Grammy history with the most Grammy's for Album of the Year. This brings her grand total to 14 Grammy wins! 

    After her announcement, she posted the presale for her album on https://store.taylorswift.com/. Here she had on sale for a limited time, "The Tortured Poets Department Collector's Edition Deluxe CD." The sale was supposed to be 72 hours, but the album sold out in less than 24 hours. I unfortunately bought the wrong CD. There was a big title at the top of the webpage saying "limited time collectors edition" so I thought that meant everything there was limited time. I waited in line, online for almost an hour just to buy the normal CD, but at least the bonus track is included! Hopefully, none of you made the same mistake as me. Hey Alexa, play Foolish One by Taylor Swift.

    I noticed in the collector's edition, pictured above, it says "Artifacts." I'm not sure how big of Swifties you all are but if you love the song Hits Different, the bonus track on Taylor Swift's Midnight album, you may have been excited to see this word. The Bridge of that song goes very hard and it starts off with the line, "I find the artifacts." This makes me think that this album will have similar vibes to Hits Different. Let me know any of your theories on what you think the album will be like!

    Have you seen the tracklist yet? She posted it on Facebook yesterday but I didn't see it till today. I wasn't expecting her to post it so quickly considering the exciting, yet painfully slow way she announced each track of the Midnight's album on her little show called "Midnight Mayhem With Me."     Aren't these titles getting you excited?!! I can't wait!!! Fortnight caught me off guard at first because I was thinking of the game. I told my roommate about the song and we laughed, then he pointed out to me that this Fortnight is spelled differently than the game Fortnite. So unfortunately we will not be getting a new song about Fortnite, but I am curious as to what this song will be about. The word Fortnight is a British word meaning "a period of two weeks." Since it is a British word I can assume this is a nudge to her ex Joe Alwyn.

    The song I'm most excited about has to be "I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)." I think we've all had an experience where we thought we could fix someone, but it didn't work out.
